General Anaesthesia

Some children may require dental treatment under general anaesthesia. At Adelaide Children's Dentistry we will discuss with you if this is an option suitable for your child.

General anaesthesia means that your child is fully asleep. Due to the increased requirements for safely monitoring children under general anaesthesia, this is carried out in a hospital environment, usually as a day-stay procedure.

We work with a team of Specialist Anesthetists to aim at providing a safe environment for the best quality care.
